Club Run

This is well out of our territory, and comfort zone.

In preparation for the CFR championship race in a couple of weeks, we will have a recce of the race route.

I can imagine having a quick pint in the pub afterwards with a bag of crisps.

Driving time from Cockermouth is just over 35 minutes. From Whitehaven, its less than an hour....

There will be a car pool meeting at Cockermouth School at 5:45, for those wanting to car share. Park at the far end of the car park and we will divvy up the cars etc

Club Run

BurnBank, Carling Knott, Blake, Burnbank and the Owsen option - not many have tried the return leg strava segment......

Club Run

In preparation for tomorrow night's race.......a gentle jog around the Latterbarrow race course, looking for places to save a few seconds. Also looking at how to not go wrong with only 200m to go......

Club Run

Members meeting in the Swan in Cockermouth at 8pm for general discussion about club business and running.

We will attempt the infamous Sale Fell/ Ling Fell double challenge

Club Run

Sailbeck race looming. Looking at the run out and the last mile or two. Going up Knott Rigg, Ard Crags. Wandope and Whitless - where the annual discussion will take place about the best route down. It is traditional for Paul Johnson to bust a gut to try to prove that his route is best.

Club Run

Blakely and Beyond. And Back.

Club Run

Hen Combe. Should leave enough time for a swift half in the Kirkstile Inn.

Club Run

Whiteside, Hopegill Head, and back down the valley

Club Run

Gavel, then Blake, then the big pull up Knock Murton, assuming we can find the long lost path through the trees

Club Run

Burnbank, Carling Knott, Blake and back via Burnbank. Might do an out and back to Owsen?
