club Run

Beaucoup de collines mais malheureusement, les ascensions ne sont pas hors catégorie. Nous allons visiter le sommet.

Members meeting after the run in the Swan Inn in Cockermouth at 8 p.m. all welcome. Discussions about club business. Might be discussing how we are going to win the British Relays, anongs other things

Club Run

Ladyside Pike, Hopegill Head and Grisedale Pike. Back down via Hobcarton End as usual, or....will we move out of our familiar comfort zone and come down a different way?

Club Run

You might be one of a small select group tonight.

Everyone else is saving themselves for the Fellside race tomorrow night.

If you know where you are going, head off up Blake and its environs.

Club Run

The now traditional trip to Wasdale, for the run up Middle Fell / Seatallan.

Followed by the even more traditional visit to John Fletcher's garden for a beer.

John promises that it will be warmer this year, and you will not need to break the ice on your beer.

Club Run

Off up Robinson. Hopefully Dale Head. If a top team turns up, they can hoof on over to Dale Head.

The tradition after this run is to descend on the fish for a bar meal. No booking required. Last food order is 9 p.m.

There are no midges outside this pub.

Club Run

Flat fell and Dent in the light.

Club Run

Passports at the ready. Note the slightly later start - in order to allow people time to get there. The car park is behind the farm.

A recce of the Fellside race course. The race is in July. This is an early recce - this will leave you plenty of time to return and either correct the errors we made, or try and find your way 'cos you weren't paying attention the first time.

Club Run

Its Nic's birthday..........Beers and run. What a way to prepare for his seventh decade on the planet.

Melbreak and possibly Hen Combe.

Club Run

Grasmoor - the North West Ridge. Very short run. Then loads of steep uphill, with a chance of some running after another 45 minutes. Back down the valley to see erosion at work.

Club Run

Not much time now....Ennerdale recce - the run out. Up Great Borne, round Starling Dodd, on to Red Pike and drop back down to Gillerthwiate. Another fine sunny evening to enjoy what will be one of the longer runds - possibly not shorter than two hours.
