This year's championship races have been selected and approved - one minor change swapping out Blisco for Steel Fell. The list of races is here, we are in the process of putting them on as events with more details & links to the relevant race pages - once complete they will be shown here (Main championship) and here (Show series).
Results updated after Pudding Run
Despite the heavy rain throughout the morning there was a near record field of 114 runners from all local clubs and many visitors.
Most runners were sporting fancy dress and all finishers received a Christmas Pudding and by holding this event CFR raised £100 for Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team.

I've just applied for a club place at next year's London Marathon. Normally this is allocated at the AGM, the application process appears to be later than previous this year (entries have only just opened). I suggest that we still go ahead with a provisional allocation at the AGM until I have confirmation of the club's place. So, if anyone wants to run the London Marathon next year the same rules apply as always - a ballot will be held at the AGM between anyone who meets all the following criteria (or most criteria if no-one does);
